The mats are backed with SBR rubber containing 20% post-consumer recycled rubber from car tires, ensuring they lie flat and remain in place without cracking or curling.

Manufactured in the USA by M+A Matting, WaterHog mats are the original bi-level mats, renowned for their extreme popularity and leading to countless copycat products. However, M+A uses the highest quality raw materials and meticulous design standards to produce commercial-grade mats built to perform for years, ensuring that the genuine WaterHog mats are never replicated.

As part of M+A Matting's commitment to environmental stewardship, the company is transitioning all 24-ounce polypropylene mats to 24-ounce PET (polyethylene terephthalate) fabric. The new PET fabric offers the same great benefits as polypropylene, including durability, fade and stain resistance, and quick drying, while being made from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. By purchasing a product made with recycled PET, customers are helping to keep dozens of plastic bottles out of oceans and landfills.

The WaterHog mats effectively stop dirt at the door with their bi-level surface, which scrapes dirt and moisture from shoes and traps it beneath shoe level to prevent tracking. The water dam border holds up to 1 1/2 gallons of water per square yard, keeping it off your floors. The reinforced rubber nubs prevent pile crushing and extend the mats' performance life, while the solution-dyed polypropylene* fabric is resistant to staining, dries quickly, and will not fade or rot.

Certified as high-traction by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI), the WaterHog mats feature beveled edges for a safe transition from floor to mat. Measuring approximately 35" x 116" (3' x 10'), the mats are manufactured in the USA and are Prop 65 compliant. Please note that the mat sizes are approximate, as rubber can shrink and expand in conjunction with temperature and time, with a tolerable manufacturing size variance of 3-5%.
